In our words: This candle smells like childhood — if your childhood smelled like a sweets bakery. The vanilla and amber come together to create a sweet but musky scent. Like other Seraphine candles, the design of the candle itself is outstanding and can easily go from candle to succulent pot. The only downside is this candles throw. It’s amazing up close but it doesn’t fill a room.

The scent smells like a posh LA hotel lobby (but without the LA people). When you burn this candle, get ready to transport from your 4x4 New York studio to a lush fireside chair inside a — uh — dessert bakery shop. Also, the ceramics jar is gorgeous and gives this candle a great second life after its burned.
