Petit Ermitage Scented Candle

Notes: cedar, amber
In their words: You can't be with us but you can still smell us...and we smell good! (lol)
In our words: Holy shit this candle smells good! It smells as seedy as the hotel does (if you haven’t stayed their we recommend it). It smells like what you’d imagine tree sap dipped in vanilla and then smoked on a campfire for a couple hours. The container design is minimal and forgettable, but who buys this candle for its design? Not us.

Scent: Dreamy. Sweaty. Sexy. The notes of Cedar give it a distinct woody smell, while the amber mixes to give it an air of complexity and sweetness. It's one of the more unique smells to grace our noses.
Throw: When lit, this candle's aroma can be noted from anywhere in the house, and likely in your neighbors house too.
Value: It cost $35, but let's just say its $50 with shipping and taxes (shipping cost us $12 to NYC). Even at $50, this candle is an absolute steal. It's comparable to high-end candles that cost much more. Also, if you live in LA, just swing by the hotel and pick one up there.
Burn: We got close to 60 hours out of our candle, which for the price, is exceptional.

Design: It has the look of a middle-school class project where the jar may or may not have been recycled from a kitchen somewhere. But you aren't buying this candle for its looks, so carry on.
Sustainability: From what we can tell, this candle is not made from recycled glass. However, the candle is easily recyclable after use.
Collectibility: Once it's been burned, there isn't much reason to keep the jar around since even the branding is a sticker on glass.
