Paddywax ‘Wild Fig & Veviter’

Score: 83%

Notes: bergamot, fig, bay leaf, citrus, pomelo, rose, vetiver, green tea, pink pepper, carnation, cedar, hay, musk , patchouli, guaiac

In their words: Form is inspired by gardens and the desert.

In our words: Smells almost identical to Noir 29. If you’re unfamiliar with that scent, it’s Black Tea leaves, bergamot, fig, cedar wood, vetiver, and musk. Scent aside, this candle is absolutely gorgeous, and even has a hole in the bottom repurposing it as a planter.

Scent: While the throw isn’t that strong, the scent is delicious and reminds us of Le Labo’s Noir 29 perfume.

Design: The ceramic vessel has a hand-made look and feel to it that is incredibly premium. It honestly looks like something you’d buy in West Elm for the ceramic vessel alone. The fact they come with a hole in the bottom to become a plant pot after the candle is finished is just plain awesome.

  • Throw: The candle smells great up close, but its hard to pick up from a the other side of the room its in.
